About Us

Knoetze Ltd specialises in insurance reinstatement, refurbishment and renovation projects across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and the wider Home Counties.

Our projects range from fire and flood reinstatement works to high-quality residential refurbishments within occupied homes. Much of our work is carried out within high-value and high-net-worth residential properties where professionalism, attention to detail and exceptional workmanship are essential.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and self-motivated Multi-Skilled Reinstatement & Refurbishment Operative to join our growing team.

This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. We are looking for a practical problem-solver who can think ahead, identify what needs doing, take ownership of their work and consistently deliver high-quality results.

The successful candidate will be capable of carrying out a wide variety of construction, refurbishment and reinstatement tasks and will be comfortable managing work from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Whilst this is a skilled role, we are looking for a team player who is willing to get stuck in with all aspects of site work when required.

Responsibilities

Carry out a wide variety of refurbishment, renovation and reinstatement works.
Complete work to a high standard within occupied residential properties.
Undertake general carpentry, making good, decorating, repairs and property maintenance tasks.
Assist with fire, flood and escape of water reinstatement projects.
Identify defects, issues and practical solutions on site.
Work independently and manage tasks through to completion.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and site presentation.
Communicate professionally with clients, homeowners and colleagues.
Assist with material handling and general site duties where required.
Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience within construction, refurbishment, reinstatement or property maintenance.
Strong practical knowledge across multiple trades.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Professional appearance and communication skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Own reliable transport is essential.
Willingness to travel throughout the Home Counties.
Fluent English.
UK work authorisation.
CSCS card preferred.

Important Information

Based in or near Horley RH6 preferred.
Travel across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and surrounding counties is required.
Occasional Saturday work may be required.
