About Us
IN Sheds is a proudly family-run business based at Woodside Farm in Welford, Northampton. With over 40 years of history in the trade, we design, manufacture, and install high-quality garden buildings across the Midlands and beyond — from traditional sheds and summerhouses to bespoke studios and outdoor rooms.
We're a close-knit team that values quality craftsmanship, reliability, and genuine pride in the work we do. If you want to be part of a company where your contribution is noticed and appreciated, this is the place.
The Role
We're hiring a Workshop Assistant to join our manufacturing team. You'll work alongside experienced joiners and framers, helping to cut, prepare, and assemble timber sections that go into our garden buildings — ready for delivery and installation at customers' homes.
This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a job well, and is happy working as part of a team. Full training is provided, so previous experience is welcome but not essential.

- Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and well-stocked with materials
- Loading and unloading timber and materials safely

About You

- Good attention to detail — you take pride in producing quality work

- Previous experience in a workshop, joinery, carpentry, or construction environment is helpful but not essential — full training is provided
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic matter more than qualifications
