We specialise in the restoration and repair of Morris Minors, ranging from regular servicing and modifications, through to full nut and bolt restorations. Our premises is based in Stonegate, East Sussex and is fully equipped to carry out all aspects of mechanical and bodywork restoration.
Classic Car Painter/Fitter
We are looking for an experienced classic car painter Mechanic/Restoration Technician to join our small team in the heart of East Sussex.
We are looking for experienced candidates with a keen eye for detail and high quality finish to join our team, who always strive for perfection and wish to work in an environment where quality comes above all else.
Your responsibilities will include;
. Taking over a vehicle from completion by our welding specialist and carrying out the preparation, paintwork and reassembly as required
· Work can vary from accident repairs, individual panel replacement through to complete repaints
· Working independently to complete projects to a high standard without constant supervision, managing your own project efficiently including producing parts lists and completion of detailed job records
Desirable skills for this role include;
· Experience in working in a bodyshop completing all aspects of bodywork preparation, painting and reassembly
· Experience in complete vehicle repaints within the classic car restoration industry would be a distinct advantage
All candidates are expected to;
· Have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working to the very highest of standards and always strive for perfection, take pride in the quality of their work, and have a strong interest in classic cars
· Have at least 3 years experience in a relevant field within the automotive industry, be comfortable working as part of a small team and able work to independently without constant supervision
· Have good communication skills, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, a strong work ethic, and be punctual/organised
· Maintain a clean and organised work environment
· Have a positive approach to learning new skills and working as part of a team
· Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
This role is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
All candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our premises in Stonegate, East Sussex TN5 7DU

Pay: £30,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
