Cornwall Event Cabins – Truro, Cornwall
£15 per hour | 24–30 hours per week

Cornwall Event Cabins is a growing, dynamic events company based just outside Truro. We deliver and support a wide range of events across the South West, including Truro Food Festival, Truro Christmas Market, and vibrant markets in Falmouth, Wadebridge, and Newquay. Alongside our event management, we also run event cabin hire and gazebo hire services with dedicated build teams.

We’re now looking for a proactive, organised, and personable Personal Assistant to support our Event Director and Market Manager as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Handling bookings, processing enquiries, and supporting trader communications
Taking control of multiple email accounts and ensuring efficient communication
Implementing new workflow systems to streamline day-to-day processes
Liaising with event partners, suppliers, and local authorities
Providing administrative support, including finance-related tasks
Office-based support at our Truro office, with flexibility to assist on-site at events when required

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and diary management abilities
Proven ability to implement efficient systems for workflow and email management (across multiple accounts)
Confident IT user: Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs), spreadsheets, and bookings systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a busy events team
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport

Desirable (but not essential)

Background in event planning and/or community management
Marketing and website skills (WordPress)
Adobe Photoshop or design software experience
