Jointly supervising the team, with specific responsibility for MCS submissions. Supporting an office based team who are responsible for reviewing evidence and images to ensure property suitability prior to the commencement of MCS installs such as Air source heat pump, ground source heat pump, battery storage, solar PV and Solar heating. The ideal candidate will have experience in a supervisory role and a passion for driving team success while serving as a link between the Head of Department and team members.
Responsibilities
- Support with team goals and objectives

- Resolve escalations and complaints
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Support with desktop assessment delivery
- Follow all Procedures and processes relevant to own role. Identify when changes and updates are required, raising these promptly with line manager.
Technical Assessment & Compliance
- Conduct desktop assessments of renewable energy installation projects against MCS standards and scheme requirements.
- Review installation documentation, design calculations, commissioning records, and supporting evidence.
- Verify compliance with relevant MCS standards, building regulations, and industry guidance.
- Assess installer submissions for technical accuracy, completeness, and conformity.
Audit & Quality Assurance
- Identify non-conformities, observations, and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate corrective actions submitted by installers and certification bodies.
- Maintain consistency and impartiality throughout the assessment process.
- Support quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Good knowledge of MCS certified renewable energy technologies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Minimum one year experience in a supervisory role or have industry specific experience
Pay: £36,500.00-£38,500.00 per year
