Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Self Employed Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. This role offers the flexibility of working independently while providing exceptional hairdressing services to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for hairstyling, customer service, and beauty treatments, with the ability to build lasting client relationships. As a self-employed professional, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule and grow your personal brand within a supportive environment.

Duties

Deliver a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments.
Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and advising on suitable styles and treatments.
Maintain a clean, organised work station adhering to health and safety standards.
Keep abreast of current trends in hairdressing and beauty industry developments to offer innovative solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in hairdressing, barbering, or related beauty services with relevant qualifications.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively and professionally.
Demonstrated store management skills including appointment scheduling and retail sales.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
Ability to work independently as a self-employed professional while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple clients efficiently.
Previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is advantageous but not essential. This role provides an excellent opportunity for creative professionals seeking flexible working arrangements within a dynamic salon environment.
