Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental care, ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical skills within a supportive environment, contributing to improved oral health outcomes for our patients. The position is paid and suitable for qualified professionals committed to delivering exceptional dental services.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to prevent oral diseases.
Assist with patient examinations, taking medical histories and recording dental charts accurately.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Take and interpret dental radiographs,
Apply topical treatments such as fluoride or sealants as part of preventative care programmes.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop personalised treatment plans.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and health & safety regulations.
Keep detailed records of patient treatments and progress in accordance with practice standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or Therapist within a clinical setting.
Familiarity with current dental practices, tools, and sterilisation procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively.
