Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Ballet Dance Teacher to join our vibrant dance academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ballet instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. This role offers an inspiring environment where creativity, discipline, and technical excellence are valued. The Ballet Dance Teacher will play a key role in fostering students’ love for dance while developing their technical skills and artistic expression.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging ballet classes tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels
Demonstrate proper ballet techniques, including posture, alignment, and movement execution
Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Prepare students for performances, exams, or competitions as required
Maintain a safe and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment and props are used appropriately
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content and organise special workshops or masterclasses

Experience

Proven experience teaching ballet at various levels, from beginner to advanced
Strong knowledge of classical ballet techniques and terminology
Prior experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners is desirable
Relevant qualifications in dance instruction or professional ballet training are preferred
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages
A passion for dance education and a commitment to fostering artistic growth in students
Ability to demonstrate flexibility in teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning needs
Classes will be in evening after 5 PM.
