Job Opportunity: Qualified Gas Engineer (Full-Time) – Energy Made Greener
Salary: £30,000 per year with increase as you progress (dependent on experience, with progression opportunities)
Location: Scotland (Company based in East Kilbride)

We are now looking for a Qualified Gas Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires 1 -2 years of practical experience in installation and fault finding competence, a passion for delivering excellent service, and the ambition to develop their career within a rapidly expanding company. We require an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer who is confident in installing boilers from start to finish without supervision. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, maintain high standards of workmanship, and ensure all installations comply with current Gas Safe regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on a range of domestic gas appliances and heating systems
- Support commercial and communal heating works, including HIUs and plant rooms (training provided if needed)
- Conduct boiler installations and system upgrades as part of a team
- Respond to emergency call-outs as part of a shared rota
- Perform basic plumbing tasks, such as pipework alterations and minor leak repairs (desirable but not essential)
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and company health & safety policies
- Deliver a high level of customer service, keeping clients informed and ensuring minimal disruption
- Maintain accurate job sheets, reports, and digital records via our field management system
Requirements:
- Domestic ACS Gas Engineer qualification (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) – essential
- Minimum 1-2 year of hands-on experience in domestic gas work (Installation & Fault Finding)
- Full UK driving license – essential
- Basic plumbing skills and G3 Qualifcation – desirable
- Additional heating or renewable qualifications– advantageous (training will be provided for career development)
- Ability to problem-solve, work under pressure, and manage your workload effectively
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
