Duties:
- Driving The Knowe van to the location of jobs or to the waste site, ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy
- Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming, leaf and litter removal, and other general garden maintenance tasks.
- Leaf & Litter removal
- Operation of powered machinery, light plant and community vehicle
- Undertake general labouring duties as required
- Cleaning & maintenance of machinery (such as mowers, trimmers and leaf blowers) light plant and community vehicle
- Follow health and safety regulations for landscaping including manual handling, safe use of equipment etc.
Essential:
- Full clean, current UK Driving Licence
- PA1/6/A Pesticide Application Certificate
- First Aid at Work Certificate
- Good Knowledge of Horticultural Practices
- Good Knowledge of Horticultural Machinery
- Ability to carry out physically demanding outdoor work.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Awareness of health and safety requirements relevant to grounds maintenance and landscaping.
