Full job description

About the Role

Our warehouse department are looking to fill a Warehouse Operative vacancy. This role is based in Balliol Business Park (NE12 8EW), working Mon - Fri 08:30 – 16:30 / 09:00 – 17:00, (37.5 hours per week). The purpose of this role is to ensure that the department continues to meet the demands of the business and the ethical and sustainability standards are met.

The key duties and responsibilities of this role are to:

Clear the production lines of all finished goods
Provide excellent service and communication to the production lines with raw materials
Adhere to the production weekly plan and ensure all jobs are prepared before production runs begin
Book finished goods into the computerized system, ensuring all stock can be traced
Book raw materials in and out of the computerized system
Processing Picks for outgoing orders
Using bendi-forklifts, ride-on pallet trucks, and pallet trucks to load and unload vehicles. All necessary training will be provided
General warehousing duties
Responding to incoming calls and emails
Other reasonable ad hoc tasks
