Full job description

Introduction

We’re looking for a Product Developer to take ownership of how our products are defined, structured and used across the business.

This is an opportunity to be our first dedicated product developer - building the function from the ground up and shaping how our portfolio evolves.

Growth for this role

As we grow, you’ll have the opportunity to build and lead the product team, with dedicated owners for different product areas reporting into you.

What you will be doing

You’ll bring structure and consistency to our full product portfolio.

You will:

Build a clear catalogue of all products across IT, Communications, Software, Cloud and Infrastructure
Define each product - including features, scope, value, pricing inputs and target customers
Create product standards, templates and governance frameworks
Prioritise which products to define first and manage the delivery of this work
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment
Support how new products are evaluated, developed, and improved

This is a highly cross-functional role, working with teams across the business to ensure products are clearly understood and consistently used.

Day to day you might…

Build and maintain a product hierarchy
Write and refine product definitions
Collaborate with technical and commercial teams
Identify improvements based on market and competitor trends
Develop tools and templates for long-term product governance
Keep product information accurate, consistent, and up to date
Support the CIO in shaping the product function

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
