To be eligible for an interview you must:
- Be undertaking a gap year
- Have a 7, 8 or a 9 in English, Science and Maths at GCSE
- Have studied Maths, Science or English at A level
- Live locally to Sutton SM1 2SW
- Have availability from 12:00pm-3:00pm from Monday to Friday (evening hours also available)

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daytime Tutor to support students in achieving academic success, particularly in English and Maths GCSE preparation. In this role, you'll create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters confidence and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions during daytime hours, with a focus on the core GCSE subjects
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Track student progress, identify learning goals, and provide regular feedback to students and parents
- Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages academic and personal development
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with school-aged children
- A strong understanding of the UK curriculum, especially GCSE-level content
- Develop personalised lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
- Experience or training in working with children with SEN is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference
