Driver's Mate / Assistant - based Tredegar
Pay Rate: £34,067 based on a 48 hour week plus overtime at time and a half
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift patterns: 06:00 starts - Tuesday to Saturday
Location: Tredegar NP22 3AA
✅WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Deliveries include white goods, furniture, electrical appliances - manual handling is required
- Working as a drivers assistant delivering approx 15-45 deliveries per day
- Be willing to train to install wet goods (washing machines) and heavy goods (American fridge freezers)
- Possess excellent customer service skills

- Ideally have previous Driver's Mate / Assistant experience
- Have great customer service skills
- Duties involve manual handling, so candidates must understand the physicaility of the role
- Working as a team with a 7.5 tonne home delivery driver
- Pass a CRB criminal record check
- Live near to Tredegar NP22 3AA
