Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff/Servers (18+) to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, providing memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service
Serve drinks and meals in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing informed recommendations
Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including processing payments and giving change
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety protocols

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales potential
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required; reliability is essential
