About Oakley Food Projects

Oakley Food Projects Ltd is a family-owned turnkey design and build specialist delivering construction, mechanical and electrical solutions to food and beverage manufacturers across the UK.

From concept design through to factory fit-out, we provide fully integrated project delivery for complex industrial production environments.

About the Role

Oakley Food Projects is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial fit-out projects across the UK.

You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The role involves managing approximately 2–3 projects at a time, with weekly site visits and at least 1 day a week in the office based in Winnersh, Wokingham.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple fit-out projects (typically 2–3 at a time).
Develop and manage project programmes, schedules, and critical paths.
Lead Site Managers and coordinate subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor project budgets, valuations, and gross profit performance.
Provide regular progress updates to clients and company directors.
Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and CDM regulations.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and programme adherence.

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years’ project or contracts management experience within the construction or commercial fit-out sector.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors.
Good understanding of construction programmes and project scheduling.
Knowledge of CDM regulations
SMSTS Certification
CITB management training
Project Management qualification
