Full job description

Compliance & Maintenance Manager

We have an exciting opportunity within a new role to join our team.

You will manage all statutory compliance across our 500+ retail branch estate, residential flats and commercial offices, ensuring all areas are kept up to date and records are processed and accessible to all, as well as managing /overseeing the helpdesk team, coordinating 3rd party suppliers, and liaising with health and safety team.

The ideal candidate will be professional at all times, enthusiastic and have a motivated approach. Taking ownership of your own time and prioritise workload in a fast-paced department where no two days are ever the same.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Ensure statutory compliance is kept up to date and records to be accessible to all
Manage property related contracts i.e. intruder alarms, air con, portable appliance testing etc
Manage the helpdesk team and facility operatives ensuring that they meet the required performance expectations.
Working closely with Regional Property Managers & Health & Safety team
Building effect relationships with our Retail colleagues and external suppliers
Co-ordinate small works issues
Reviewing and authorising invoices

What competencies we are looking for?

Proven track record in property management experience
Excellent organisational and administration skills
Team Management Experience
An understanding of commercial leases would be desirable, but training can be provided
Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all time
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Able to review reported issues and problem solve quickly and efficiently
Computer literate, confident using Word & Excel
Enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels
IOSH/IWFM/NEEBOSH desirable
