We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our friendly small team. This is an active, hands-on role with plenty of variety throughout the day. It would suit someone who enjoys practical work, staying active and working as part of a team.
Working Hours :
We can offer either of the following working patterns:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm
- Monday to Thursday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with Fridays off for a long weekend
The first working day of each week is a required working day. This will normally be Monday, or Tuesday when Monday is a Bank Holiday. Some flexibility may be available on the remaining working days, subject to business requirements. Additional hours may occasionally be available during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and securely pack large and bulky products for dispatch.
- Receive, check and put away incoming deliveries.
- Load and unload deliveries safely.
- Support the unloading of containers and organisation of warehouse stock during busy periods.
- Carry out stock replenishment and assist with regular stock counts.
- Assist with product quality checks before dispatch.
- Inspect returned products and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Report stock shortages or damaged inventory to the Warehouse Manager.
- Keep the dispatch area organised to support same-day order fulfilment.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties when required.
What we are looking for :

- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

- A valid forklift licence is desirable but not required.
- Previous experience in packing, dispatch, stock handling or manual work would be beneficial.
