Full job description

The Liphook Equine Hospital is a world-renowned, fully equipped, state-of-the-art equine referral veterinary hospital providing specialist clinical care to horses, ponies and donkeys referred from our own practice and from veterinary practices across the UK.

We are looking to recruit an additional Administrative Assistant to join the team in our diagnostic laboratory working alongside other administrative assistants, laboratory technicians and veterinary surgeons on a part time basis. The daily tasks will involve various administrative functions within the team involving some practical non-technical tasks as well as dealing with phone calls, data entry and other computer-based work.

A personable and pleasant individual who enjoys interaction with colleagues and clients is a crucial requirement as is an interest in and knowledge of horses. Candidates must be computer literate, have an excellent telephone manner, be self-motivated and see resolving client queries as a challenge to be embraced on a daily basis.

The position is offered on a part-time basis - exact hours and working pattern to be discussed at interview but will include some Saturdays. We offer a competitive salary and package.

The role is based at our state-of-the-art equine hospital in Liphook and due to the rural location own transport is essential.
