Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in operating Loading Shovels/ 360 excavators within a production environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient production of materials while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.
Typical Responsibilities (But not limited to)
Plant
- Operating loading shovels to feed processing equipment
- Operating 360 excavator to feed processing equipment
- Pushing up stockpiles
- Operating dust suppression equipment
General yard duties to include
- Weighbridge cover
- Machinery inspection and maintenance
- Re-fuelling
- Shift Clean downs
- Housekeeping & tidiness
- Following all health and safety regulations and company protocols.
Experience
Candidates should ideally have at least 1 yrs experience in the following areas:
- Operating a Loading Shovel with relevant licence
- Operating a 360 excavator with selector Grab
- Working within a busy Waste or aggregate yard
- Some basic experience using Microsoft packages

The package:
Salary indication: £37,700 per annum + Discretionary bonuses
Holidays: 28 days (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)
Working hours: 7.00am to 5.30pm (some flexibility required)
Working Days: Monday to Friday (47.5 hours) & every other Saturday (morning shift of 5 hours) with potential of overtime available
