Job Summary
We are looking for a Structural Detailer to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating general assembly drawings and fabrication drawings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in CAD/Tekla Structures.
Duties
- Develop detailed structural drawings and models using CAD software TEKLA.
- Create 3D models and general assembly drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Review and modify drawings based on project requirements and client feedback.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant standards, codes, and best practices in construction and graphic design.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documentation, including details for fabrication and assembly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, ArchiCAD, or SolidWorks - preferably Tekla Structures
- Strong understanding of structural systems and construction processes.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles relevant to technical drawings.
- Familiarity with system design concepts within the context of construction projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in structural detailing or related fields is desirable but not essential.
