Job Summary:
As Home Automation/AV Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, Servicing and maintaining home automation and audio visual systems for various settings including domestic, commercial and new builds.
Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration:
- Installation of audio visual systems including projectors, sound systems and video conferencing equipment.
- Installation of home automation systems including control4, Lutron and Rako.
- Configure equipment to ensure optimal performance and integration with existing technology infrastructure.
- Installation and maintenance of CCTV System's.
- Conduct testing to ensure correct function before handover.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance checks on audio visual systems to uphold performance standards.
- Diagnose technical issues promptly and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Update software and firmware as necessary to maintain system security and functionality.
- Troubleshoot connectivity problems and audio visual equipment malfunctions efficiently.
Customer Support:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving technical concerns promptly.
- Provide training to end-users on operating the audio visual equipment effectively.
Experience:
- Good understanding of networking required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex audio visual issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in audio visual technology setup and maintenance.
