Our significant growth in recent years has created the need for enhanced digital transformation capabilities and automation to support our expanding operations. We are looking for a tech-savvy professional to help drive digital innovation, automation and the adoption of AI across the firm.
The Opportunity:
As a Digital Transformation Assistant – IT, reporting to the Digital Transformation Specialist, you will:
· Build and support automation workflows that streamline operations and enhance efficiency across the firm
· Assist with data transformation and system integration tasks using the Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure and complementary low-code and scripting tools
· Support the firm’s adoption of AI and Agentic AI, including AI-powered document processing, intelligent automation agents and the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools
· Contribute to the firm’s technological advancement through automation solutions and digital innovation initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Automation and Workflow Development:
· Build and support automation workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps and Power Automate) and complementary workflow automation tools
· Develop end-to-end automations that integrate multiple business systems – including our practice management, Microsoft 365 and reporting platforms – reducing manual intervention
· Assist with webhook-driven and scheduled automations that monitor business data and deliver timely alerts to teams
AI and Intelligent Automation:
· Assist in building and supporting AI-powered solutions, including intelligent document processing with OCR and vision-based data extraction
· Support the development of Agentic AI workflows, in which AI agents carry out multi-step tasks across business systems under appropriate human oversight
· Make responsible use of AI-assisted development tools whilst maintaining code quality, security and confidentiality of firm and client data
Data and System Integration:
· Assist with data transformation across Excel, JSON, APIs and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
· Work with REST APIs and the Microsoft Graph API (email, SharePoint, Teams and identity) for system integration projects
· Support bespoke web applications hosted on Microsoft Azure and internal infrastructure, spanning front-end interfaces and back-end services built with Python and PowerShell
Database and Analytics:
· Execute SQL Server queries and conduct data validation activities to ensure data quality
· Create dashboards and reporting interfaces, including Power BI reports, that provide real-time insights into business performance
Collaboration and Innovation:
· Work with the Digital Transformation Specialist and colleagues across departments to identify automation opportunities
· Research emerging technologies, including AI and Agentic AI capabilities, through proof-of-concept projects
· Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security best practices whilst maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications and Experience:
· Exposure to the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate), or willingness to learn with appropriate training and support
· Experience with workflow automation tools (such as Make, Zapier, n8n or similar), with an understanding of JSON, webhooks and API integration
· Basic front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and some back-end or scripting experience using Python or similar; familiarity with PowerShell advantageous
· Familiarity with database concepts and SQL query writing
· Interest in AI technologies, including large language models, AI-assisted development tools and agentic automation, with an appreciation of confidentiality and data protection considerations
· Interest in APIs, system integrations and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, with eagerness to develop skills through hands-on experience
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and to document processes and user guides
· Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Pay: £1.00-£2.00 per year
