Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner (Lead) to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of early years practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and early childhood education in a nurturing and safe environment. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance
- Plan, organise, and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
- Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health, and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for children and staff
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and professional conduct
- Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Support the induction, training, and ongoing professional development of team members
- Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that promotes equality, diversity, and respect for all children
- Assist with administrative duties related to the smooth running of the nursery or childcare setting
Experience
- Proven leadership experience within early years or childcare settings
- Extensive experience working directly with children in nurseries or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience in developing experience plans that support children's learning and development milestones

Pay: £26,500.00-£27,664.00 per year
