Early Years Practitioner

Banana Moon Aberdeen International

Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Banana Moon Aberdeen International is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality early learning and childcare and creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, explore and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate experiences based on children’s interests, individual needs and stages of development.
Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Encourage children’s independence, confidence, curiosity and love of learning.
Observe, assess and contribute to children’s learning journeys.
Build strong and positive partnerships with families.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively within the team to ensure consistently high standards of practice.
Contribute positively to the continued development of the nursery.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold SSCYP/SCQF Level 7/SVQ Level 3 (or be willing to work towards).
Be registered with the SSSC or willing and eligible to register.
Have experience working within an early years environment (desirable).
Have an understanding of child development and high-quality early years practice.
Demonstrate warmth, professionalism and strong communication skills.
Be motivated, reliable and a positive team player.
