Main Purpose of the Role

Primary Support Worker (Fixed Term until 31 May 2027) - PKC13981
£17,669 - £18,614 (27.5 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Inch View Primary School, Perth

We are looking for a compassionate, dynamic Primary Support Worker to join our dedicated Pupil Support team at Inch View Primary School.

In this role, you'll make a real difference by supporting children with additional support needs (ASN) to access a meaningful and inclusive curriculum. You’ll work closely with teachers and colleagues to help pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils 1:1, in small groups, and in class.
Assisting with positive behaviour approaches.
Helping pupils during transitions, breaks, and school activities.
Supporting intimate care routines where needed.
Using ICT to enhance learning.
Contributing to personal learning plans and inclusive practice.

Skills & Experience Required

✔ Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children/young people with ASN.
✔ Strong communication and listening skills.
✔ A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
✔ Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
✔ Commitment to our school values: Creative, Ambitious, Respect and Engaged.

Experience with ICT, moving & handling, and behaviour support is desirable but not essential.
