GLL is looking for a Children’s Party Host to work at The White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre. If you have the skills and ambition to join us, there's never been a more exciting time—this is more than a job, it’s a career.

We believe that children’s parties should be fun, active, and memorable experiences. That’s why at GLL, we host engaging and well-organised children’s birthday parties at our Better Leisure Centres throughout the UK. Our parties provide a safe, enjoyable environment for children aged 2+ and offer a stress-free, convenient experience for parents.

Working as part of a team, you’ll take the lead in setting up, coordinating, and delivering party activities using the facilities available. You’ll confidently host a variety of games and entertainment, from team challenges to sports-based activities such as football, basketball, and swimming (where available), ensuring every child is included and having fun. You’ll create a friendly and respectful atmosphere, welcoming children from diverse backgrounds and encouraging participation.

You’ll also be responsible for welcoming guests, managing the flow of the party, assisting with food and refreshments, and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your enthusiasm, energy, and ability to engage with children will play a key role in making each party a special and enjoyable experience

What you’ll do:

To be responsible for structured activities for a group of children.
To ensure that birthday parties meet the expectations of the birthday child and their guests.
To encourage with appropriate use of praise

What you need:

It will be beneficial to have knowledge of Ofsted and Health & Safety legislation as well as the qualities that parents and guardians expect from childcare provision.
It goes without saying that you’ll be friendly and approachable as well as being imaginative, creative and a positive role model to the children that you supervise.
