Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-time Line Cook/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills within a vibrant restaurant environment, contributing to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of dishes according to recipes and standards
Cook a variety of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Assist with meal preparation during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
Support in stock rotation, inventory management, and restocking supplies as needed
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is vital
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends and evenings as required
A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work
