Full job description

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator, where your energetic approach and keen eye for detail will drive the smooth operation of our financial processes. In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day accounting tasks up to Trial Balance.

Duties

Process invoices and payments accurately to ensure timely financial transactions
Maintain organized records of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with company policies
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues swiftly
Month End and Year End procedures
Weekly Payroll
Support the preparation of financial reports by gathering relevant data and ensuring accuracy in all entries
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues or discrepancies efficiently

Qualifications

Proven experience in an accounts administrator role
Experience with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll essential
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively across departments
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the finance team

Pay: £33,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
