We are seeking a skilled Document Configuration Analyst with experience in Kofax Communications Manager (KCM) to support our document automation and customer communication processes within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, testing, and optimizing document templates and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Job Title: Document Configuration Analyst
Salary: up to £30,000
Location: Liverpool City Centre, on a hybrid working basis
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am-5:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Kofax Communications Manager Configuration: Develop, customize, and maintain document templates and communication workflows using KCM.
- Configure dynamic templates for policy documents, claims correspondence, billing statements, and other insurance-related communications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for document design and automation.
- Conduct testing to ensure document accuracy, formatting consistency, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve document generation efficiency and automation within the insurance communication lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate KCM with core insurance systems (e.g., policy administration, claims management, CRM).
- Ensure that all document templates comply with legal and regulatory standards within the insurance industry.
- Maintain detailed configuration documentation and provide training to end users on KCM functionalities.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in document configuration, automation, or content management
- Hands-on experience with Kofax Communications Manager (KCM) or similar document automation tools
- Proficiency in document template design, scripting, and rules-based document generation
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, or other scripting languages used for document automation
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with insurance systems (e.g., Transactor, Schemeserve, ICE, Acturis, SSP or other policy/claims management platforms) would be beneficial
- Experience in the insurance sector is highly preferred
