We're looking for a Billing Team Leader to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in overseeing the production and distribution of 45,000+ invoices every month. Reporting to the Invoice to Cash Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team, ensure billing accuracy, and drive continuous improvement across the end-to-end invoicing process.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a team of billing professionals to deliver excellent service and achieve key performance targets.
- Overseeing the accurate and timely generation, review, and distribution of invoices.
- Managing complex billing queries, invoice exceptions, and customer account issues.
- Working closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Nursing teams to ensure all billable activity is captured accurately.
- Driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
- Monitoring billing KPIs, analysing trends, and producing reports to support performance and decision-making.
- Supporting audits, maintaining strong controls, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Previous experience in a Billing Team Leader, Billing Supervisor, Revenue Team Leader, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, order-to-cash processes, and financial controls.
- Experience managing and developing teams, ideally within a high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with billing systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
