Lecturer in Game Arts and Animation (on-site)
Salary range of £30,000 to £44,000 per annum, pro rata*
35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are seeking a professional with expertise in Game Arts and Animation, including understanding of multiple animation media and the game development production pipeline. The post will require you to teach on multiple levels of the UAL creative media specification. This role will involve teaching across a breadth of practical and theoretical units. An ability to teach a wide range of game arts and animation skills with an underpinning knowledge of games design. The candidate should also have knowledge in current animation and production software (eg. Adobe CC, Blender, Maya etc). Experience of games design/animation production pipelines would also be desirable.
You should have a Degree in a relevant area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement and a good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 or above. You may also be required to undertake relevant quality assurance training and certification to meet UAL awarding body requirements for assessment and internal verification of student work.
