About The Role:

This role sits within our Finance department which provides support services to the wider OCS Group and our front-line colleagues.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Accurately post payments from bank statements and other sources to the correct customer accounts.
Work with internal teams (Credit Control, Accounts Receivable) to resolve unallocated cash, short payments, deductions, and mismatched remittances.
Reconcile payment batches daily and assist with month-end reconciliations.
Ensure all payment data is correctly logged, stored, and compliant with audit standards.
Collaborate with the wider Accounts Receivable team to maintain accurate aged debt and reduce unapplied cash.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

Must have Right to Work in the UK
A minimum of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent – and qualifications required specifically in Maths and English
Be IT literate – if you have good experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) that would be useful
Experience working in an office or finance environment. We are especially interested in candidates who have developed skills or gained experience within a Treasury or Accounts Receivable function.
Demonstrable administration skills
A highly-organised individual – You will possess exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills with meticulous attention to detail
