Waverley Carers is Dumbarton, Helensburgh, Balloch and Garleocheads first Nurse-Led Care at Home Service.

We are looking for exceptional Care Professionals to support growth and expansion.

Waverley Carers is building bespoke, relationship-led care packages in Dumbarton and we are seeking exceptional care professional to support our clients

This is not high-volume, time-pressured care.

This is thoughtful, person-led support delivered properly with a senior nurse Care Manager

We are intentionally building continuity, trust, and long-term consistency.

We are looking for someone who:

✔ Is a car driver with access to a vehicle
✔ Values dignity, independence and enabling care
✔ Is confident working one-to-one
✔ Is calm, emotionally intelligent and observant
✔ Wants to grow with a developing package

Responsibilities

Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
Support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life
Document care provided accurately and report any changes in health or behaviour to relevant professionals
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
Utilise IT systems to update records and manage schedules efficiently
Drive company vehicles when required to support home care visits or outings
Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

Skills

Valid driving licence and access to a car
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care services is desirable but not essential
Ability to develop, understand, and follow care plans
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Proficiency with online systems for record keeping and communication purposes
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Compassionate nature with a professional attitude towards client wellbeing
Good interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

Flexible working as the packages develops

This role will begin with a smaller number of hours and increase as the care plans evolve. We are building this carefully and sustainably.
