Full job description

The post holder will co-ordinate the smooth running of the three Community Centres within the Parish by undertaking associated administrative tasks, assist with the maintenance of financial records, procurement, project work, and provide administrative support to the Clerk.

Knowledge of accounting processes, Microsoft Office and Outlook is essential.

Requirements

· Experience of working in an office environment (desirable)

· Experience of book-keeping processes

· Excellent IT skills

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work

· Attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Good organiser with the ability to multi-task

Skills & Competencies

· Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.

· Clear communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers, staff, auditors and grant providers.

· Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.

Experience & Qualifications

· Experience in an administrative and/or financial role.

· Knowledge of local government processes (desirable but not essential).

· Experience with procurement processes (desirable).

· Experience supporting funding bids or grant monitoring (desirable).

· Experience with accounting packages

Pay: £14.13-£16.96 per hour
