Quality Admin
Renown Group has an immediate vacancy for a Quality Administrator.
The Quality Administrator provides dedicated and organised support to the organisation’s quality function, ensuring the effective day-to-day management, coordination, and maintenance of quality documentation and project deliverables.
The role serves as a key operational support within the quality system, helping to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and timely distribution of information required to achieve and sustain ISO 9001 compliance. By taking ownership of administrative and coordination activities, the position ensures that project documentation is accurate, consistent, and compliant before submission to clients.
In addition, the role supports the wider quality and document control functions through regular liaison with internal departments and client teams, maintaining internal documentation systems, and ensuring adherence to established quality standards. The position reports directly to the Quality Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
- Document control: Accurate compilation and sourcing of documents required for submissions to clients.
- Internal auditing e.g. ensure ERP and documentation are aligned.
- Answering and filtering incoming telephone calls, and other general admin tasks as required.
- Control, creation and compilation of document submission and revision e.g. ITP, Weld book, NDT, LTMS, CPS, MRBI.
- Control the notification process and coordinate inspection schedule.
- Collating and measuring various Health and Safety metrics.
- Updating employee training records.
- Ensure traceability is maintained throughout the project, by means of material matrices, welder traceability, etc.
- Procurement of consumable items and bought out complete (BOC) items.
- Expediting supplied products.
- Booking in of conforming products to the group wide ERP system.
- Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List and compile supplier metrics.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing and validating documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel.
- Strong communication skills and confidence when liaising with internal teams and client representatives.
- Ability to work independently with sound judgement and proactive learning.
- Competence in maintaining structured registers, logs, and databases with accuracy and traceability.
- Ability to meet deadlines while consistently upholding high quality standards.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a quality, document control, or administrative role within engineering, construction, or a project‑based environment.
