Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Team Leader to join our team at the Congleton Market Quarter Site. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team in preparing high-quality Greek & Mediterranean dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion in fast fresh food looking to further their career.

Duties

Oversee a small team to organise shifts & maximise productivity
Prepare and cook a variety of fresh food dishes according to established recipes and standards, and oversee team members completing these tasks
Manage food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts and delegate other staff to do the same
Lead by example in maintaining a positive team environment
Taking occasional customer orders at till point

Requirements

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, within a restaurant or hospitality setting with leadership position favourited.
Very strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards colleagues and customers as this role is forward facing.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and cover staff holidays as required

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour
