Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Wireman / Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting ongoing production processes. Duties
- Assemble electrical components and wiring using hand tools and power tools in accordance with technical specifications and diagrams.
- Support of production teams manufacturing activities.
- Making of wire looms/various crimping to IPC/WHMA-A-620C requirements.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and testing of assembled units to ensure functionality.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, assembly instructions accurately and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in the optimisation of assembly processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Working alongside engineers to develop new products.
- Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in electrical or electronic assembly is preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their skills within a professional manufacturing setting, contributing to high-quality product assembly while adhering to safety standards.
Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
