DIE CUTTER

GREATER MANCHESTER

Salary £ DOE + Company Pension

Shifts/Hours: 12 hours: Thur / Fri / Sat – 1 day off then Mon / Tue / Wed – 7 days off

Currently Days however this is changing to Days / Nights (rotating)

Plenty of overtime on offer!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Dakiou Flat Bed Die Cutter to die cut solid board according to specifications
Read and interpret drawings, and work orders
Monitor the cutting and creasing process to ensure accuracy and quality
Set up and adjust cutting tools and equipment
Inspect finished product for defects and make necessary adjustments
Work with a printer as a team to ensure quality production on the printer die cutting operation.

Requirements:

Mechanical knowledge and understanding of materials handling
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Proficiency in using hand tools for adjusting and repairing as necessary
Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Can-do positive attitude
Ability to work as part of a Team
Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
