Role Summary
Our Bar and Waiting Staff
Our Bar and Waiting staff are passionate about customer care, and knowledgeable about the products and service they offer to our guests. Our team thrive off delivering a fun dining experience to our guests and take pride in making a simple restaurant reservation into a wonderful lifelong memory.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a fun, friendly, and thoughtful experience for every guest

Provide high standards of customer service in a relaxed yet professional manner

Build positive relationships with guests and ensure they feel welcomed and cared for

Take ownership of guest satisfaction throughout their visit

Demonstrate knowledge of food, drinks, and services to confidently assist guests

Create memorable dining experiences through attentive and personalised service

Work collaboratively with restaurant, bar, kitchen, and front-of-house teams
-
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
Section Waiter
-
Manage a designated section of the restaurant or Spa Deli
-
Greet and serve guests throughout their dining experience
-
Take food and drink orders accurately
-
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
-
Present and process final bills efficiently
Runner
-
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
-
Deliver food and drinks to guests accurately and efficiently
-
Support smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
-
Assist with maintaining service flow during busy periods
Host
-
Welcome guests on arrival and provide a positive first impression
-
Escort guests to their tables and assist with seating arrangements
-
Manage reservations and table allocation
-
Take room service orders where required
-
Thank and farewell guests, ensuring a positive end to their visit
General Responsibilities

Working conditions
This role is based on-site at Langdale Hotel and Spa, Ambleside, LA22 9JD.
Staff accommodation or relocation support may be available for exceptional candidates.
All candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the start of employment.
