Compensation: Salary + Bonus (OTE £35-45,000)

The Job

Choice Commercial Finance is a certified B Corp that supports UK businesses in finding the right finance solutions for their needs. We work with over 100 lenders and take a highly consultative, relationship-led approach to everything we do.

We are looking for someone with B2B sales experience who is keen to transition into a career in commercial finance. Full training will be provided across business loans, commercial mortgages, asset finance and invoice finance. What matters most to us is not prior finance knowledge, but your ability to listen, advise and build trust.

You'll be based in our Penn Street, Amersham office, working as part of a close-knit team of six. During the first six months of training, the role will be office-based for a minimum of four days per week, with some flexibility available thereafter. All enquiries are inbound - we do not make cold calls.

What You'll Be Doing

This is an advisory role, not a transactional one. You'll work closely with SME clients, often at important moments in their business journey, helping them make informed finance decisions.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Taking time to understand each client's business, goals and challenges, and helping them explore the most suitable finance options available
Acting as a trusted guide throughout the application process, explaining options clearly and managing expectations
Building long-term relationships with clients, supporting their future funding needs as their business evolves
Working collaboratively with colleagues and lenders to structure the best possible outcomes for clients
Networking locally to develop and maintain relationships with professional introducers and referrers
Taking part in the firm's pro-bono and community initiatives from time to time (for example, speaking in schools about finance or supporting local charities)

What We're Looking For

Strong interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable building rapport by phone and email
A consultative mindset with the ability to listen, ask good questions and explain complex ideas simply
Minimum of 3 years' B2B sales experience
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Finance experience is helpful but not essential - we can teach this
A genuinely helpful, collaborative approach to work
