Job Description

Are you a morning person who loves food, takes pride in a clean kitchen, and enjoys making people feel welcome?

We are a charming, small guesthouse looking for a reliable and friendly Breakfast Cook & Front of House Assistant to join our team. Because we host a maximum of 20 guests, our breakfast service is personal, welcoming, and manageable.

For most days, you will be working right alongside us as a team. However, we are looking for someone who can learn the ropes and confidently manage the morning service independently when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Hosting: Greet guests as they arrive in the dining room, take their orders with a friendly smile, and serve food and drinks.
Cooking: Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast options to order.
Kitchen Compliance: Help maintain our high standards by completing daily food safety paperwork (opening/closing checks, food and fridge/freezer temperature logs).
Cleaning & Resetting: Work as a team to wash up, clear tables, and ensure the kitchen and dining area are left spotless and ready for the next day.

What We Are Looking For:

A Team Player with Independence: Someone who enjoys working collaboratively but is equally comfortable running a smooth service on their own.
Hospitality Mindset: Excellent communication skills—you enjoy interacting with guests and making them feel at home.
Food Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of food safety standards and allergen awareness (Food Hygiene Level 2 is a plus).
Reliability & Flexibility: Punctuality is essential, as is a flexible approach to working hours, which will vary based on guest bookings.

Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Morning shifts. Hours and days will be flexible and scheduled in advance based on seasonal guest bookings.
Location: Llandudno

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
