VACANCY – HR ADMINISTRATOR

(Maternity Cover)

Location: Llandybie, Ammanford, SA18 3GY

Hours: Up to 30 hours per week

Duration: Fixed-Term (12 months)

THE COMPANY:
Morgan Marine Ltd is a market leader in its specialised field, designing, manufacturing and installing Steel and GRP housings amongst other diverse products. Our primary client base includes the Utilities and Construction sectors.

Morgan Marine is an ambitious, dynamic, and professional organisation with over 60 years of manufacturing expertise. As the company continues to flourish and our client base expands throughout British and Global markets, we are looking to strengthen our HR Team with the addition of an HR Administrator.

THE ROLE:
The HR Administrator will provide professional, accurate and timely HR and payroll administration support across the business. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, employee records management and HR reporting.

Key responsibilities will include processing starters and leavers, supporting recruitment activities, arranging interviews, taking up references, maintaining personnel records, responding to employee queries and providing administrative support for payroll processes. The successful candidate will also assist with monitoring recruitment metrics, producing HR statistics and supporting employee relations activities including grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
You will have previous experience in a similar HR administrative role and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be highly accurate, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have an understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, are essential. You must demonstrate professionalism, discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information, together with a positive, flexible and team-focused approach.

THE PACKAGE: Competitive salary dependent on experience.
