D J Davies Fuels Ltd have vacancies for Timber Process Operators at their production plant in Ammanford.
The Role
- Sawing of timber on Automatic saw machines to job specific requirements.
- Some manual handling of large items.
- Maintain production levels on demand
- Perform daily check on machinery before and after usage ensuring machines are greased and maintained.
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy in line with company Health and Safety procedures.
- Any other duties deemed as reasonable within the scope of the job role.
Desirable Skills:
- Sawing experience preferable but not essential
- Committed to job as other employees rely on production from saws.
- Work well under pressure
- Flexible with working overtime during busy period
Rate of pay:
Minimum wage applies along with a performance related bonus structure
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Press Brake Operator: 1 year (preferred)
