Job Summary
Roca Restaurant & Lounge is looking for an experienced and passionate Mixologist / Bartender to join our growing team.
We are seeking someone with a genuine passion for creating exceptional cocktails and mocktails, delivering outstanding customer service, and thriving in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, excellent presentation skills, and the creativity to contribute fresh ideas to our drinks menu.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of premium cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and other beverages.
- Create high-quality signature drinks with consistency and attention to detail.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and ensuring an excellent experience.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and ordering.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure efficient service.
- Accurately measure ingredients and handle cash and card transactions.
- Assist in developing seasonal cocktail and mocktail menus.
- Stay up to date with current mixology trends, techniques, and premium spirits.
- Ensure all drinks are presented to a high standard.
- Support team members during busy service periods and contribute to a positive working environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bartending or mixology experience in a busy bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
- Strong knowledge of classic, modern, and premium cocktails.
- Experience creating high-quality mocktails.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Right to work in the UK.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour
