Here at GXO Brinklow, Milton Keynes, we’re working together with Waitrose and are on the look-out for a Transport Administrator to join our fast-paced transport office. You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ shift pattern, working hours rotating 06:00-14:00 and 14:00- 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
Liaise with warehouse operations to meet the delivery schedule
To work within operational procedures, adhering to Health & Safety requirements at all times
Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management
Drivers brief and de-briefing as well as data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPI’s
Respond to customer queries in timely and professional manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience in transport function within logistics beneficial but not essential
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments
IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
