What makes this role exciting
The role will support Group adherence to financial regulations and standards, maintaining robust internal controls. Continuous Improvement will be a key requirement, working directly with the Statutory Reporting Manager EMEA & AMER to achieve a culture of Finance Excellence in the Group.

Main responsibilities
Statutory Reporting and Compliance:
Main duties, which will principally be the AMER region but may involve other regions as and when required, include:
- Ensure accurate and robust month-end closing process, preparation and processing of monthly journals (including accruals, salary journals, prepayments, deferred revenue) and maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and approval of payrolls for the US and Costa Rica
- Calculation and submission of US State Tax Returns
- Main point of contact for external tax advisors and local accountants in US, Costa Rica and Brazil to ensure statutory and tax compliance
- Review and completion of AMER corporate tax returns prepared by local tax advisors
- Prepare the monthly sales commissions calculations including review of customer contracts and deal value
- Finance point of contact for the relevant CloudPay stakeholders where necessary
- Interaction with the Accounting Operations Team is required, who will perform transactional accounting, billing, and AP activities
- Support with ad-hoc projects related to the AMER region
Risk Assessment:
- The role will need to work directly with the Statutory Reporting Manager EMEA & AMER to support with resolving any highlighted GAAP and Tax compliance risks/inaccuracies, especially when raised by EMEA & AMER Auditors or Advisors. This may involve coordinating with external advisors due to reliance on knowledge from the local country
Training and Development:
- Support in training both Finance Team members (where necessary)
Continuous Improvement:
- The role will work alongside the Statutory Reporting Manager EMEA & AMER to support the implementation of technology improvement Initiatives to create a Finance Centre of Excellence
