The Role
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives to join our twilight shift team in Andover. This is a varied, physical role where your initiative and practical skills will be valued every single day. You won't be watching the clock, you'll be making a real contribution to a busy operation.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders of our composite decking, cladding, roofing and associated products with care, ensuring quality and attention to detail throughout.
Loading Vehicles: Safely and efficiently load vehicles with our composite decking, cladding, roofing and associated products, ensuring orders are secure and accurate for dispatch.
Forklift Operation: Safely operate various forklifts ranging from 2.5t to 5.5t to move stock and materials around the warehouse.
PDA Use: Use hand-held PDAs to support accurate and efficient loading processes.
Unloading: Unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
Roll Former Operation & Sheet Metal Tasks: You will also be required to produce bespoke roofing sheets and flashings using our roll former machine, assist with steel coil management and operate the gantry crane for material handling tasks. These tasks form part of the role and you will be called upon to carry them out as required.
Cross-Department Support: Step up and assist other areas of production when needed, we're a team and everyone mucks in.
What We're Looking For
Valid Forklift Licence: Essential, you must have hands-on forklift experience (2.5t–5.5t) and be confident operating in a busy warehouse environment.
Physically Fit: This is an active, manual role involving heavy lifting and working on your feet throughout the shift.
Self-Sufficient: You can assess a situation, make sensible decisions, and get on with the job without needing constant supervision.
Flexible & Committed: Our operation changes day to day, we need people who can adapt, go the extra mile when it counts, and are happy to take on additional hours when required.
Reliable Team Player: You show up, work hard, and support your colleagues. We look out for each other here.
Bonus Skills (Desirable): Experience with roll forming, sheet metal handling, machining, or similar production environments is a real advantage.
Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3pm to midnight.
Overtime available and occasionally required.
Permanent positions based at our Andover branch.
