An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join our Credit Control team at Hampshire County Council.

The Role:

The Credit Control team plays an important role in recovering debt on behalf of Hampshire County Council and our partners.

What you’ll do:

You’ll manage a portfolio of overdue accounts, ensuring effective debt recovery action is taken through to receipt of payment
Liaise with our partners to resolve complex account queries effectively and efficiently
Prepare and share clear and concise reports to your management team and our partners

What we’re looking for:

A strong understanding of debt recovery processes and account administration
Demonstrates core values of integrity and respect, professionalism and working together as one organisation
A team player with strong collaborative skills
Excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with our colleagues, customers and partners
Sound IT skills and able to accurately record and present information
