About RM Commercial

RM Commercial is the commercial finance division of RM Financial, an established and growing finance brokerage based in Belfast.

We work with businesses, property investors and developers across Northern Ireland and the wider UK, arranging funding across a broad range of commercial finance requirements.

As the commercial side of the business continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious Commercial Finance Broker to join the team and help develop RM Commercial into one of Northern Ireland's leading commercial finance brokerages.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join an established business at an important stage in the growth of its commercial division.

You will manage commercial finance cases from initial enquiry through to completion, working directly with clients, lenders, accountants, solicitors and other professional contacts.

The role will cover a broad range of funding, including:

Commercial mortgages
Property investment finance
Development finance
Bridging and short-term lending
Buy-to-let and portfolio finance
Business loans
Asset finance
Refinancing and capital raising
Other specialist commercial funding

You will have access to existing enquiries, an established client base and referral relationships, while also being encouraged to develop your own network and introducer relationships.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident dealing with clients and capable of taking ownership of opportunities from enquiry through to completion.

Previous commercial finance experience would be highly advantageous, whether from a brokerage, lender or banking background.

The right person will be:

Experienced in commercial finance, business banking, property finance or a related field
Confident analysing commercial lending propositions
Comfortable presenting cases to lenders and negotiating terms
Strong at building relationships with clients and professional introducers
Organised and able to manage multiple live transactions
Commercially driven and motivated by generating new business
Comfortable working independently while being part of a wider team

Most importantly, we want someone who wants to build something, rather than simply manage an existing desk.

Package

£35,000–£40,000 basic salary + commission, depending on experience. (OTE £65-75k per annum)

The role offers significant earning potential for a successful broker, alongside the backing of an established business, existing deal flow and a growing network of professional introducers.
